1. "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran

This song, folks, is a modern classic because it speaks about enduring love, the kind that lasts beyond the superficial. It resonates with young couples dreaming of growing old together and older couples who are living that dream. This song is great at bringing your fans to the dance floor, especially if they have been too timid to get up and dance until this point.

2. "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran just gets it, doesn't he? "Perfect" is the quintessential love song. It’s about finding someone who is, well, perfect for you. You can play it in your gigs, but just so you know, this one also works sing to your loved one when it's just the two of you.šŸ˜‰

3. "At Last" by Etta James

Oh, the timeless classic! When I cover "At Last," there is always a shift in the room. It's a song that crosses generations – everyone knows it, and it has a way of making people feel in love, even if they’re not. It's about finally finding love and the joy that comes with it. Get some brass and wind players to join you for this one. It sounds amazing.

4. "Let's Stay Together" by Al Green

This song is the epitome of commitment. "Let's Stay Together" talks about sticking through the highs and lows, which is what real love is about. It's smooth, it's soulful, and it gets people nodding and swaying. A must-have for any Valentine's gig, if you ask me.

5. "Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton

To round off my top five, I have to choose "Wonderful Tonight." It’s a song that showcases the beauty and simplicity of love. It’s about seeing the person you’re with as the most wonderful thing in your life.
